Independent Contractor – Marketing Assistant

Overview

The premier lead generation program in the home improvement industry and our corporate owned territories are experiencing explosive growth
in both revenue and number of locations! Our growth is necessitating that we find exceptional people to add to our marketing team. The marketing team focusses on generating leads in any way possible, including our own websites and digital and traditional lead sources like PPC, Social, Print and TV. This team interacts with our amazing dealer customers, corporate owned retail locations, lead generation vendors and many departments at the company. We love to market and generate leads and have fun while we do it!

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Position Summary:

We’re looking for an organized marketing assistant for this exciting role in the home improvement industry! Our ideal candidate will have a knack for organization, great copywriting skills, attention to detail, and an empathetic personality that can relate to our everyday customers. They will understand how to use those skills to create a cohesive brand experience for customers and manage our online communities.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Individual Contributor:

Marketing Tasks:

  • Coordinate and process marketing-related orders for company stores, including field marketing teams, sales teams, and JBRx office employees.
  • Assist in planning and organizing annual marketing meetups and internal events.
  • Research venues and contact hotels to negotiate competitive group rates in selected locations.
  • Track event budgets and assist in cost management efforts.
  • Support project management of creative initiatives for JBRx and the National Lead Program.
  • Coordinate timelines, assets, approvals, and cross-functional communication between stakeholders and creative teams.
  • Track project milestones to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope.
  • Streamline and maintain the Dokshop site to ensure designated teams have access to essential, up-to-date marketing materials.
  • Upload, organize, and categorize marketing resources for easy access by internal teams.
  • Maintain organized marketing files, calendars, and shared resources.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
  • Daily Working Time: 8am to 5pm EST or CST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
