Title: CPT-10236 FBA Operations & Inventory Flow Manager

Independent Contractor – [Role/Service Category/Tier Level] (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Amazon FBA Operations & Inventory Flow Manager to maintain optimal stock availability and ensure smooth inventory movement between bulk storage warehouses and Amazon Fulfillment Centers.

The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on experience managing FBA replenishment, inventory health, and 3PL coordination for active Amazon sellers.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • 1. FBA Replenishment & Inventory Planning
    • Conduct weekly forecasting using burn-rate analysis (sales velocity vs. Days of Supply).
    • Determine precise replenishment quantities to maintain 4–6 weeks of inventory coverage.
    • Monitor inbound shipments, active inventory, velocity trends, and seasonal fluctuations.
  • 2. Shipment Creation & 3PL Coordination
    • Create and manage all “Send to Amazon” workflows inside Seller Central.
    • Generate accurate shipping plans and FBA labels.
    • Issue clear Work Orders to 3PL partners for picking, prepping, labeling, and dispatching units.
    • Track 3PL work completions and ensure timely movement of stock into FBA.
  • 3. Inventory Performance Optimization
    • Monitor Inventory Performance Index (IPI) and take action to maintain healthy inventory levels.
    • Prevent overstocking (avoiding LTS fees) and understocking (avoiding stock-outs).
    • Analyze excess, aging, and stranded inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • 4. Reconciliation & Discrepancy Resolution
    • Open Amazon cases for missing units, inbound receiving discrepancies, or miscounts.
    • Submit proof of delivery and documentation for reimbursements.
    • Track case outcomes and ensure full resolution.
  • 5. Geographic Allocation & Multi-Warehouse Strategy (If Applicable)
    • Direct stock distribution across multiple warehouses or regions (e.g., East Coast vs. West Coast).
    • Reduce FBA inbound costs and transit times by optimizing warehouse routing.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • 3–5 years direct experience managing FBA inventory operations, replenishment, and 3PL coordination for Amazon sellers (required).
  • Proficiency with Amazon Seller Central (Shipments, Inventory Health, FBA dashboards).
  • Experience with 3PL portals and warehouse management communication workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills — able to calculate Days of Cover, burn rates, and forecasting models in Excel/Sheets.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and process-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision.

APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE/REQUIRED

  • Amazon Seller Central (required)
  • 3PL Portals / WMS systems
  • Excel / Google Sheets (required for forecasting and calculations)

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 15 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Flexible, Monday-Friday
  • Daily Working Time: afternoons, candidate local time (3-6 PM for example)

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
